I am interested in creating my own electric bike using a Bafang 1000w motor and a 52v battery. At this point, I am now looking for a good—but wallet friendly—mountain bike. The Kent Trouvaille was notorious for being shipped with the chain being routed wrong through the derailleur which will cause poop shifting. My first thought was getting the Schwinn Axum, but then found the Mongoose Ardor and Kent Trouvaille. I like the internal routing and Suntour forks on the Kent Trouvaille.
